Student Media Publications Win Prestigious Awards

The Department of Student Mediaphoto of four students posing with an award in front of a sign that reads the washington post at The University of Alabama provides experiential learning for student journalists as they practice their communication skills and produce quality content, learning to lead the next generation of media professionals. Student Media supports six student-run media enterprises, along with a sales and marketing team.

This year, The Crimson White (The CW), Nineteen Fifty-Six and Alice were each nominated for Associate Collegiate Press (ACP) Individual Pacemaker Awards; additionally, students of The CW and Nineteen Fifty-Six were also nominated for College Media Association (CMA) Pinnacle Awards.
