The Division of Student Affairs works to enhance the learning experience for each student at UA. This would not be possible with out the hard work and dedication of the Student Affairs staff members who work effortlessly to overcome challenges and provide opportunities for students.

The Division of Student Affairs is committed to providing resources for professional and personal growth for its employees. In this section of the Student Affairs website, created specifically for Student Affairs staff members, you can find information about professional development programs and models as well as a template for creating your own professional development plan. You will also find resources about how to get involved on campus as a staff member.

You can explore the Learning Reconsidered section to learn more about the foundation that the Student Affairs philosophy at UA is built upon. Learning Reconsidered: A Campus-Wide Focus on the Student Experience (2004) and Learning Reconsidered 2: A Practical Guide to Implementing A Campus-Wide Focus on the Student Experience (2006) are available for download as well as a template for developing learning outcomes based on the Learning Reconsidered model.

Additional resources are available to support the development process for departmental and individual goals and strategies. A communication guide and style guide are available to provide guidance in developing communication and promotion plans for programs and services offered by the departments within the Division of Student Affairs.

You can also show your gratitude for the work that your campus partners and colleagues are doing within the Division by nominating them for a spotlight or a divisional award.
