You may make your payment of $10.00 with BamaCash or use a Credit or Debit card. Print a copy of your electronic receipt.

That’s it! Go to the UA Outdoor Recreation office located on the 2nd floors of the Student Recreation Center (SRC) with your Risk Assumptionform and proof of purchase with your printed receipt and you can rent a BamaBike.

	University of Alabama BamaBikes Rental Agreement 1. I agree to use as is the BamaBikes bicycle and accept full responsibility for the care and security of the bicycle and equipment while in my possession, from the time I leave the BamaBikes check-in/out desk until I return the bicycle locked correctly on the appropriate bicycle rack. 2. I understand that there are inherent risks involved in riding a bicycle, that injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence, and I freely assume those risks. I hereby release The University of Alabama, their agents and employees from any and all liability for damage and injury to myself or to any persons or personal property resulting from negligence, adjustment, transportation and use of this equipment. I accept full responsibility for any and all damage or injury which may result. In no way does renting a BamaBikes guarantee my safety while riding and I will seek proper training and preparation before using a BamaBikes. 3. I agree to reimburse and hold harmless The University of Alabama, their agents and employees for any loss or damage of any kind other than reasonable wear and tear which results from the use of this equipment. The minimum fee for repairs is $30.00 and may exceed that based on the severity of the damage. If bike is not repairable, is lost or stolen, or is not returned, the charge to me will be at full replacement value as indicated in #5 below. 4. I agree to return all rental equipment within the agreed 72 hour period in working condition to avoid additional charges. I understand that the University of Alabama has the authority to charge fees to my University account if I fail to pay them myself. I understand that the BamaBike bicycle must be returned to one of the BamaBikes check-in/out desk (Rose Towers, Burke Residential Hall, Ferguson Center, and Student Recreation Center) during the BamaBikes operational hours and within the 72 hour rental period. I also understand that I am responsible for locking the bike to an appropriate bicycle rack using the provided BamaBikes lock. 5. Current market value for BamaBikes bicycles, equipment damages and late fees: • Lost, stolen or Non-repairable Bicycle - $300.00 • Lost key or lock - $25.00 • Damages equipment/parts - $30.00 (minimum, the actual charge will depend on the repair cost, if more than $30) • Late Return - $30 ($300.00 charge will be applied if the bicycle is not returned within 48 hours of the agreed return time) 6. I agree that the telephone number, email address, and local mailing address that I have provided in my application are valid and that I can be reached by any of these methods of communication. 7. I, the undersigned, have read and understand this rental agreement.
