VACANT: Director of Student Affairs Assessment and Planning
The Director of Student Affairs Assessment and Planning is responsible for divisional assessment and planning. Specifically, the Director is expected to: operationalize goals for the Division, particularly those related to student learning and the non-academic campus environment; develop division-wide strategies, including sampling strategies, for measuring attainment of individual department goals; and design assessment for Student Affairs initiatives of University interest; i.e. residential communities. The Director will oversee processes to aid in foreseeing circumstances and determining strategies related to goal attainment for both the division and departments as appropriate.

Mrs. Jessica Simmons is currently enrolled in the Higher Education Administration Doctoral program. Prior to joining the Office of Student Affairs Assessment and Planning, Mrs. Simmons served as the Graduate Assistant for Parent and Family Programs and completed an internship in Student Affairs Assessment. She holds an M. A. degree in Higher Education Adminstration from The University of Alabama and a B. S. degree from University of Montevallo.
